The White Rose was founded in 1942 by several students at the University of Munich, including Sophie Scholl and her brother Hans.
The members were united against Nazi policies and began writing and distributing leaflets calling on the German people to take action to stop injustice and genocide. In 1943, Hans and Sophie Scholl were arrested by the Gestapo after they distributed leaflets to students at their university. Hans Scholl, Sophie Scholl, and Christoph Probst, another member of the group, were executed on February 22, 1943

Resistance is a choice.Stay involved. Fight.
“Nothing is more shameful to a civilized nation than to allow itself to be “governed” by an irresponsible clique of sovereigns who have given themselves over to dark urges – and that without resisting. Isn’t it true that every honest German is ashamed of his government these days? Who among us can imagine the degree of shame that will come upon us and upon our children when the veil falls from our faces and the awful crimes that infinitely exceed any human measure are exposed to the light of day?”
White Rose, Leaflet One 1942
Hello,
I was introduced to Sophie Scholl when I was in 6th grade, a friend reccommended her as a subject for a school report. I have never forgotten the story of her bravery. Along with 5 others, Sophie was executed for distributing Anti Nazi Leaflets. She was 21 when she died.
This has always stuck with me. Sophie, her brother and cohort were not violent, they believed that their neighbors were at threat from the government.
They spoke out and were murdered for it.
What have I done to speak out for my neighbors and myself?
I am using art to excite you about creating a ruckus.
I invoke
The Society of Sophie’s
inspired by a courageous group, showing us a way to fight back against oppression.
Are you a Sophie, courageous enough to do one small thing in create change.
I invite you to try.

Open Letter on the Murder of Renee Nicole Good and the Failure of Executive Governance
[Your Name]
[City, State]

To Whom It May Concern,
I write in a state of profound moral outrage regarding the murder of Renee Nicole Good and the broader pattern of institutional failure and executive irresponsibility that such a tragedy exposes. Her death is not merely an isolated crime; it stands as a devastating indictment of a system that has allowed instability, violence, and policy negligence to proliferate without accountability.
The loss of Renee Nicole Good demands more than condolences. It demands action, scrutiny, and an unflinching reckoning with the consequences of leadership that appears increasingly detached from the realities faced by the public. The inability — or unwillingness — of the current administration to maintain coherent control over its policies, priorities, and enforcement mechanisms has created conditions in which public safety, social trust, and basic governance are eroded.
The absence of clear, responsible executive direction has fostered confusion among agencies, weakened the rule of law, and allowed preventable harm to unfold. When leadership fails to govern with discipline, foresight, and respect for human life, the cost is measured in broken families, traumatized communities, and names that should never have become headlines. Renee Nicole Good is now one of those names.
This moment requires far more than symbolic statements. It requires immediate review of the policies and failures that contributed to this tragedy, public accountability from those entrusted with authority, and a renewed commitment to governance that places human life, public safety, and institutional integrity above political expediency.
A government that cannot protect its people, cannot coordinate its own policies, and cannot demonstrate command over the consequences of its decisions forfeits the public’s trust. That trust is not abstract. It is built — and broken — through lives like that of Renee Nicole Good.
Her murder must not be absorbed into the background noise of dysfunction. It must serve as a turning point for serious reform, sober leadership, and the restoration of competence and responsibility at the highest levels of power.
Respectfully,
[Your Name]
Additional Version
Dear Representative,
I write to express deep concern regarding the tragic death of Renee Nicole Good and the broader implications this loss carries for our communities and institutions. Her passing represents not only a profound personal and communal tragedy, but also a moment that calls for careful reflection on the effectiveness of our current systems of governance and public safety.
At the national level, this event underscores the importance of consistent, coherent leadership and policy execution. When executive policies lack clear direction or sufficient coordination, the resulting uncertainty can weaken institutional effectiveness and diminish public confidence. It is essential that leadership at the highest levels demonstrate accountability, transparency, and a firm commitment to ensuring that government actions meaningfully support the safety and well-being of the public.
I respectfully urge those entrusted with authority to give this matter serious consideration, to examine whether existing policies are meeting their intended goals, and to pursue any necessary improvements with urgency and care. Honoring the life of Renee Nicole Good requires more than remembrance; it calls for thoughtful, responsible action that strengthens public trust and works toward preventing such tragedies in the future.
Letter Denouncing Attack on Venezuela
Dear ,
I write with profound concern and deep alarm regarding the recent attack on Venezuela and the forced removal of that nation’s president and his wife. I wish to state plainly: the kidnapping of a head of state and his spouse is an act that should shock the conscience of the international community. Regardless of one’s view of the Venezuelan government, abducting civilian leaders through military force is a violation of fundamental norms of sovereignty, human rights, and the rule of law.
I am disgusted by the decision to seize President Maduro and his wife rather than pursue lawful diplomatic, judicial, or multilateral mechanisms. Such actions undermine the very principles the United States claims to defend. They erode moral authority, weaken international credibility, and set a dangerous precedent that invites global instability.
The use of unilateral military force on the territory of a sovereign nation without transparent legal justification or broad international support raises grave constitutional, legal, and ethical concerns. It places civilians at risk, destabilizes an already fragile region, and communicates to the world that power — rather than law — now governs international conduct.
A foreign policy worthy of a democratic nation must be rooted in restraint, legality, and respect for human dignity. Military coercion, political abduction, and disregard for international norms do not advance peace or security; they accelerate chaos.
I urge all responsible leaders to demand full transparency, immediate oversight, and a decisive shift away from escalation and toward diplomacy. The people of Venezuela — and the world — deserve leadership committed to stability, law, and humanity rather than force and fear.
Respectfully,
Letter to Representatives About Protecting Due Process

Dear [Representative/Senator] [Last Name],
I am writing as a constituent deeply concerned about recent actions and proposals that threaten the fundamental principle of due process in our legal and governmental systems. Due process is not a partisan matter—it is a cornerstone of the Constitution and a safeguard that protects every person from unchecked governmental power.
Any erosion of due process, whether through policies that bypass judicial review, limit access to legal representation, encourage punitive actions without evidence, or undermine the independence of the courts, poses a serious risk to our democracy and individual liberties.
I am urging you to:
Oppose any legislation or executive actions that weaken due process protections,
Support strong oversight and transparency measures to prevent abuses of authority,
Publicly affirm your commitment to the constitutional rights guaranteed under the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments.
In moments of national tension or political pressure, our institutions and elected officials must demonstrate unwavering commitment to the rule of law. Protecting due process protects all of us—regardless of political affiliation—and preserves the integrity of our democratic system.
Thank you for your time and for your service to our state. I look forward to your response and to seeing you advocate for the constitutional principles that keep our country free and fair.
Sincerely,

Urgent Letter to Representatives on the Erosion of Due Process

Dear [Representative/Senator] [Last Name],
I am writing with urgent concern about the accelerating erosion of due process protections in our government. Fundamental constitutional rights—protections that prevent abuses of power—are being weakened in ways that should alarm every American, regardless of political affiliation.
When due process is bypassed or minimized, the government gains the ability to act without accountability, without evidence, and without meaningful checks from the courts. These are not abstract issues; they strike at the heart of the rule of law and threaten the safeguards that protect all of us from arbitrary or retaliatory actions by the state.
I am calling on you to take immediate and visible action:
Oppose any policy, legislation, or executive action that undermines judicial oversight or weakens constitutional protections,
Demand transparency and accountability whenever due process is restricted or circumvented,
Publicly affirm that no administration—now or in the future—should be allowed to erode the rights guaranteed by the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments,
Use every oversight tool available to ensure government power remains subject to law, not political will.
Moments like this define whether our institutions remain strong or whether they begin to normalize extraordinary and dangerous shortcuts. History has shown repeatedly that when due process falters, the consequences for civil liberties and democratic stability are profound and long-lasting.
I urge you to act decisively. The protection of due process cannot wait.
Thank you for your attention to this critical matter. I look forward to seeing strong leadership and meaningful action to defend the constitutional principles that uphold our democracy.
Sincerely,
[Your Name]

Letter Denouncing the removal of Accessibility in Government
Dear Representative [Last Name],
I am writing as a constituent to express grave concern over the accelerating erosion of accessibility accommodations for people with learning challenges and disabilities under the current Administration. These accommodations are not cosmetic preferences; they are civil rights protections that enable equitable access to information, civic participation, and government services. When accessibility is weakened or dismissed, it signals a retreat from inclusion and a disregard for the Americans whose participation depends on these supports.
Recent actions underscore this troubling pattern. Reported changes such as the removal of accessible font standards in official communications associated with Secretary Marco Rubio, and the absence of sign language interpreters at federal press conferences, directly undermine access for individuals with dyslexia, low vision, and the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community. These are not neutral administrative decisions; they functionally exclude people from understanding and engaging with government communications in real time. The impact is immediate and harmful, particularly for students, educators, and families who rely on consistent, accessible formats to navigate public life.
These actions are egregious and reflect a hostile posture toward disability rights by the current Administration. I urge you to publicly denounce these practices, demand the restoration and strengthening of accessibility standards across all federal communications, and exercise rigorous oversight to ensure compliance with the ADA and related laws. Accessibility is a legal obligation and a moral imperative. Silence or inaction in the face of these rollbacks is not acceptable. I expect your leadership on this issue and a clear commitment to protecting the rights of disabled Americans.
Sincerely,
[Your Name]
